Enjoy your blog very much. I’m in recovery as well. Although I don’t talk about recovery as much as spirituality in my blog, my spirituality grew substantially through the recovery process and living in sobriety.
My addiction was food. I went to food when I was happy sad mad or peaceful… Food was always the answer. In sept I found a weight loose group that I go to weekly. It’s a life long change . Not easy but I take one day at a time and one better choice of food at a time. It feels good to be back in control again. So happy you are also happy. Addiction sucks and has ruined many peoples lives along with all of their family members. Keep up the good work. You are an inspiration.
My cousin Sarah is the real deal. I’m going through a hard time right now and of the hundred family members and close friends I choose Sarah. She’s ALWAYS there! Literally. We may not have spoken for years but he very second I asked for help she was there within 2 minutes literally. I needed help and support and Sarah pulled me up when I was feeling like I was drowning too deep to be brought back. We may be family but we haven’t spoken in years, yet Sarah picked up with me like it was 20 minutes ago. She will do the same for anybody I know it. Iove you Sarah
